does anyone know the requirements for gym rat this year? same as last year playing 55 and winning the championship?

I thought you had to unlock it from one of the reps

that's an option but there was another way to get it last year

You only have to play 35 games. And then sim to playoffs and play every games since each game counts too. So basically it would be 50 total games which Mike Wang said last year that is the total amount of games required to get Gym Rat. If its the same as last year then itll work. Im currently testing that right now. Ive tested this method last year and worked perfectly fine for me. All so dont ask out/sim to end. And make sure you play every playoff game and also win finals .

In 2K20 I always played 45 then simmed to playoffs.

I did 42 games worked for me. I asked out with VC up 25+ in the playoffs too. I wanna say its probably around 50 games total in a season playoffs included im guessing tho. I've done 40 games the last 2ks and simmed to playoffs. I dont wanna risk simming after 34 and playing 16 playoff games to find out it is a certain amount of regular season games

For 2k20, i did 45 games played and then sim to playoffs. Then for playoffs, if you blow them out by 25 points, sim to end W/ VC. If you sim to end without vc it wont count and you wont get gym rat.

The play offs count in the 45 games, I did 30 games regular season then simulated. Worked on two different characters as the minimum games you can play after that point is 16.

Last year I only played 40 games and won the finals and got gym rat badges for all 8 of my builds

Can confirm this as well, I was actually doing it with 30 games + 16~ from the play offs so the minimum was actually 45. This year I tried it and I'm not sure if it worked since I had gatorade boosts but I don't see the badge so far.

try it out. On the subs rules or whatever they confirmed it too for 2k21. But yeah just sim to playoffs and play every single game and win the finals.

Can the playoff games be simmed when up by 25? Goes faster instead of playing every playoff game to the last minute...

I played close to 80 games and every playoff game and finals I don't know if I got it

55 wins? or 55 games played? does skipping practice affect that? also, can the rest of the season be simmed to playoffs after 55 wins/GP?
